Increasing your efficiency to any SEO or link building work is important. It was just a month when we presented our search query generator for guest blogging and many people find it useful and effective on their guest blog prospecting assignments.

Today let us share to everybody another great tool that we use here in SEOteky.  A simple twitter prospector for guest blogs (via Google Docs Spreadsheet).

Why use the tool?

Social integration is important for many blogs. In guest blogging, one of many signals that we look into is the blogs activity on twitter and Facebook. Having good numbers in social space always reflect readership and thought leadership of the blog in its industry. Using this tool, you will be able to track tons of guest posts from different blogs and opportunities at the same time – all in twitter.

What this tool does?

1.Track shared guest posts in twitter from different blogs in one spreadsheet.
2.Track people who are looking for guest contributors, bloggers, writers.
3.Track people who tweeted and RTd the posts and engage them.

The Tool

A much easier way to track guest blogging related posts in twitter. NO TWITTER API USED so don’t ask for impossible stuffs that needs twitter API :)

Grab a copy of the tool

Steps to follow in order to have a copy of the tool:

1. Make sure that you are logged in to your Gmail account.
2. Go to this link – http://bit.ly/tekytool2
3. Go to File tab in the menu and click make a copy
4. Save your copy on whatever name you want
5. Done

Working with the Tool

Assemble your tool by choosing the footnote or byline and adding your keyword of choice through the select drop down options.

Choose your footnote from the list (B1), “guest post by, guest blog by, this is a guest post, looking for guest bloggers and so on

Choose your keyword from the list (D1), and see a refreshed result of your search

Important: This tool scrapes the latest tweets that involve your search. Also display the current and fresh tweets to the oldest. Up to 200 tweets at the same time. Every time you load the tool or select any choice from the drop down menu, the results get updated.

To save your search, follow the simple instruction below:

 Go to the bottom of your spreadsheet and click the current tab, choose duplicate
